We are a small family owned Poll Hereford stud now based at Rollands Plains, after re-locating from the North West Slopes and Plains region of NSW after forty years. We also operate a commercial beef cattle enterprise. “Aria Bend” is approximately 160 acres comprising of rich alluvial creek flats, and rising to hilly country. We crop between 30 acres each year, growing winter crops which are utilized for fodder, and hay production. About 100 acres of “Aria Bend” is planted with Tropical grasses, with an abundance of feed in the Summer due to the high rainfall. The balance is natural pasture which has been fertilized and improved with sub clovers. We run a poll Hereford stud herd of approximately 20 cows and run around 50 commercial Poll Herefords, Angus and Black Baldy cows.
